Blood Drive
Please consider participating in the 2nd Annual SLR Blood Drive on Sunday Feb 23rd from 10 am-2 pm. This year we are dedicating our drive to honor Logan Malone, Al and Christi’s son who unfortunately lost his battle with Stage 4 BCOR Mutated Sarcoma (Undifferentiated -Spindle Cell) on October 28th, 2019. Donations that are made go to patients, like Logan, that are fighting cancer, blood disorders and traumatic emergencies. Please use the link at the bottom of this page to select a time; this will guarantee your appointment time and help keep waiting to a minimum. The whole process takes about an hour, which includes a questionnaire, your donation, and down time for refreshments after your donation is complete. If you need help with your appointment come into the office and we would be more than happy to walk you through the process. You can also contact Mitch Starr in Site 4 for more information.
Trash & Recycling
We appreciate everyone doing their part to recycle.
All trash and recycling needs to be taken to the dumpster and recycling bins in the SW corner of the property. The trash cans around the property are for small items in the moment and day guest use, not weekly trash bags from personal residences.
Please break down all cardboard and do not load them with any extra trash, 2 large boxes not broken down take up more space in the bins then 10 flat ones. All recycling needs to be kept loose with the exception of shredded paper which needs to be in a plastic bag.
Music Volume
Please be considerate of your neighbors on Shangri La Ln and here within the gates by turning down your radio volume once on Shangri La Ln. Noise in the desert carries. Not everyone wants to hear your choice of music and your bass it is extremely disruptive.
